CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- The candidate should have completed Bachelor of Science degree or other technical discipline from any recognized university.
- Should possess strong knowledge in logical/physical database concepts.
- The candidate should have the cultural awareness.
- Experience with SQL and query tuning is desirable.
- Should have strong written/verbal communication skills
- Should have the eagerness/aptitude for learning things quickly.
- Must possess strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
- Should be willing to Work in various shifts (i.e. after-hours, weekends, and holidays) as needed.
- The Product Support Engineer is responsible for providing deep level technical support to Teradata Field Engineers.
- Should regularly conduct problem triage, trouble shooting and problem analysis on complex incidents that are escalated to GSC.
- Should perform knowledge Management and related activities;Validate Knowledge content for accuracy, relevancy, and currency.
- Should be able to maneuver cross-organizationally and demonstrate a high-level of professionalism.
