CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• The candidate should have completed B.E/B.Tech degree from a reputed college/Institute. 
• Should have 0 to 2 years IT administration experience in Linux or Unix environments.
• Possession of the social skills necessary for professional interaction in a customer support role.
• Should have excellent language, telephone, email, and other communication skills.
• The candidate should be confident, with the ability to deal with difficult customers in pressure situations (such as during IT outages).
• Should have the eesire to learn and grow. Individuals in this role will expand their technical skill set at a rapid rate.
• Should be flexible on working hours and remote assistance

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• As a IT Engineer Associate, the candidate will provide support for Engineering Compute technologies pertaining to Hardware Engineering, including EDA tools, LSF, NetApp Storage, or FlexLM software licensing.
• Candidates with experience supporting SunRay or other UNIX remote access solutions (NX, Citrix, VNC, ssh) and Perl and Shell scripting will be at a distinct advantage.
• Provide tier 2 technical support to in a UNIX EDA environment.
• Assist in the EDA and GNU Software installs / License / NetApp Storage operations.
