Category I:

• Candidates from M.Sc Chemistry (Physical / Inorganic / Organic / Analytical / Materials / General), Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry; B.E/B.Tech (Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology) from a recognized university

Category II:

• Candidates from M.Sc Chemistry (Physical / Inorganic / Organic / Analytical / Materials / General), Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry; B.E/B.Tech (Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology) from a recognized university

Category III:

• Candidates from Ph.D (Chemistry) with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal as per HRDG  from a recognized university
   
  
  
• Desirable: Candidates who have working experience in the field of catalysis/ materials chemistry/synthetic organic chemistry for the synthesis of fine/specialty chemicals/new materials with good publication record are desirable. Candidates who have also worked on biomass and CO2 related chemical transformations are also desirable.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The selected candidate will involve in the project and pursue the following activities in the five year plan of CSIR-CSMCRI.

• Catalytic transformation for fine and speciality chemicals.
• Biomass to chemicals.
• CO2 value addition by making chemicals.
• Developing novel adsorbents for CO2 capture.
• H2­ storage materials.
• Polymer nano composites for diverse applications.
• Recovery of valuables from electronic waste.
